Where it is & when to go

Captain’s Table is in Ayia Napa centre. Ayia Napa packs a lot into a small grid: the medieval monastery square at its heart, the bar strip fanning out around it, Nissi Avenue running west towards the famous beach, and the harbour and sculpture-park headland to the south. Nothing in town is more than a few minutes apart by car. Dinner from 7.30–8pm is the sweet spot; in July and August a reservation saves you a wait almost anywhere with a terrace.
