Paphos Airport Transfers: Getting to Paphos, Coral Bay, Latchi & Limassol
Paphos Airport is small and close to town. Which bus to take, what a taxi costs, how to reach Coral Bay and Latchi, and when a pre-booked transfer makes sense.
Paphos Airport transfers are short: Paphos Airport (PFO) sits about 15 km south-east of the town, so most hotels in Kato Paphos are only about 20 minutes away by road. Coral Bay is about 30 minutes, Limassol about 50, and Polis and Latchi, the gateway to the Akamas, just under an hour.
The airport has two local bus routes, a coach to Limassol, a shuttle to Nicosia, a taxi rank and plenty of hire-car desks. Here is how each option works, with fares from current published sources checked in October 2026. Confirm on the day — timetables change with the season.
Paphos Airport transfer times at a glance
Typical drive times from Paphos Airport by road: Kato Paphos and the harbour about 20 minutes; Paphos town centre about 20 minutes; Coral Bay about 30 minutes; Limassol about 50 minutes; Polis and Latchi about 55 minutes; Larnaca Airport about 1 hour 40 minutes.
Paphos Airport buses: routes 612 and 613
Two local buses leave from outside the terminal. Route 612 runs through Kato Paphos to the Tombs of the Kings bus station and is the one for the harbour and most hotels; route 613 goes to Karavella bus station in the town centre. A single fare is €2, rising to €3 after 9pm, paid in cash on board, with luggage included.
Both run all year, but they are less frequent outside summer and in the evening, so check the current timetable with Paphos Buses before you fly. With stops, the ride to Kato Paphos takes roughly 30–40 minutes.
Paphos Airport to Coral Bay, Peyia, Polis and Latchi
For Coral Bay, take bus 612 and change to route 615, which also serves Chloraka. It is cheap but can take well over an hour door to door. Polis and Latchi are reached by bus from Karavella station in town, again with a change.
With luggage, a taxi or a pre-booked transfer is far simpler for these resorts: about 30 minutes to Coral Bay and under an hour to Latchi, straight to the door. Latchi is also where the boats leave for the Blue Lagoon.
Paphos Airport to Limassol and Nicosia
The Limassol Airport Express links Paphos Airport with Limassol for around €10 per adult. Kapnos Airport Shuttle runs coaches from Paphos Airport to Nicosia on selected schedules — check its website for the current timetable.
By taxi, transfer or hire car, Limassol is about 50 minutes along the A6 motorway.
Taxis at Paphos Airport
Licensed taxis wait outside arrivals. As a rough guide from recently published fares, expect about €35–45 to Kato Paphos, €50–65 to Coral Bay and €90–120 to Limassol, with higher rates at night. Ask for the fare before you set off.
When a pre-booked transfer is worth it
A private transfer fixes the price when you book and puts a driver in arrivals waiting for you. It earns its place on late-night arrivals after the buses have thinned out, for families and groups with luggage, and for anyone heading to Coral Bay, Peyia, Polis or Latchi, where the bus means a change.
You can book one through our partner intui.travel with the button on this page — pick the car size, see the price before you pay, and add your flight number so the pickup matches your arrival.
Hiring a car at Paphos Airport
The west is where a hire car pays off most. The Akamas, Avakas Gorge, the wine villages and the Troodos foothills are all an easy drive from Paphos and barely served by buses. Collecting a car at the airport on arrival is usually cheaper than a transfer now and taxis later — compare every rental company in one search through our car hire partner.
