Visiting Caledonia Waterfall Trail
The Caledonia Trail follows the Kryos Potamos stream down through pine and plane forest to a 13 m waterfall, the tallest easily-reached cascade in the Troodos and one of the cooler, greener walks on the island.
Getting there
From Platres; start near the Psilo Dendro trout restaurant (bottom) or the Caledonia picnic site by the President's summer cottage (top).

Park at Psilo Dendro or the Caledonia picnic site.
Best time to go
Spring (March–May), when snowmelt gives the falls full flow and the forest is at its lushest.
