The thing to order: classic cypriot grills and oven dishes. A step up in polish from the taverna scene while keeping the island’s produce-first cooking — expect fresh fish, grilled meats and Mediterranean plates done properly.

Where it is & when to go

Neon Phaliron is in City centre, near the old town, Limassol. Limassol runs long and thin along its bay: the old town and castle quarter at the centre, the Molos seafront park and marina beside it, and the tourist strip stretching east towards Amathus. Dinner from 7.30–8pm is the sweet spot; in July and August a reservation saves you a wait almost anywhere with a terrace.
