Visiting Baths of Aphrodite
A small natural grotto and pool shaded by an ancient fig tree, where myth says the goddess Aphrodite bathed. It marks the trailhead for the Akamas coastal paths, and the gardens around it are free to wander.
Getting there
Drive to the Baths of Aphrodite car park beyond Polis and Latchi, at the end of the coast road; the pool is a 5-minute walk up a paved path.

Large car park at the visitor centre (small charge in season).
Best time to go
Year-round; spring brings wildflowers, and early morning beats the tour-bus crowds.
